We’re Here to Make the Lighting Process Simpler

Mathews Lighting Group was founded by Ben and Jordana Mathews with the mission of providing innovative, customer-focused lighting distribution services and fostering long-term relationships.

Ben Mathews brings extensive experience from his family’s business, Lucifer Lighting, where he worked for seven years in roles spanning Director of Supply Chain and Production to Vice President of Engineering and New Product Development. His products have earned numerous accolades, including a German Design Award in 2017, and have been specified in high-profile projects such as McDonald’s and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Ben’s insight into lighting design and distribution inspired the creation of a company centered on proactive service and exceptional client care.

Jordana Mathews complements this vision with her expertise in economic development and negotiation. As the former Director of Economic Development for Bexar County, she managed HUD, HOME, and CDBG programs and structured complex incentive packages for Fortune 500 corporations like Oracle, GM Financial, and USAA. With experience in government relations at General Motors and a fellowship at Public Strategies, Jordana has cultivated a deep understanding of collaboration and strategic planning.

Together, Ben and Jordana combine technical expertise and strategic insight to deliver unparalleled lighting solutions tailored to meet the needs of their clients.

Mathews Lighting Group was established on the principle of supporting customers and specifiers above all. Our areas of expertise include commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.
