Ben Mathews

Prior to founding Mathews Lighting Group, Ben Mathews worked in his family’s business, Lucifer Lighting, for seven years in various capacities, from Director of Supply Chain and Production to Vice President of Engineering and New Product Development.

His products won numerous awards — including a German Design Award in 2017— and have been specified in projects ranging from McDonald’s to the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Mr. Mathews earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Skidmore College, double majoring in Economics and History. He is a native of San Antonio, Texas.
